Part music store, part school, part recording studio, this Alexander Street fixture is bursting with creative energy. Founded in 2009 as an instrument retailer, Big Music has since grown to become a centre for all things music, inspiring children and adults alike to take up an instrument.

With a team of over thirty professional musicians as retailers, teachers and coaches, the business continues to grow and expand with its client base. Private lessons are available from Monday–Saturday for guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, piano and singing with top coaches.

There are a number of camps, classes and programs available including the ever popular Rock Show in which teenagers are encouraged and coached by industry professionals and showcase their talent in a live performance. More of a community than a store, Big Music is the perfect place to start — or restart — your musical journey.
