Overview

"Put your troubles aside, come and laugh, live, party and celebrate being alive."

That's the call to action from prodigal band Yumi Zouma, who are returning to New Zealand for three special shows, one of which is at San Fran this Friday. They've just completed a Europe, North America, Japan and the Phillipines tour in support their critically acclaimed sophomore album, Willowbank.

Yumi Zouma are known for their alternative-pop vibe, but utterly New Zealand flavour. They recorded Willowbank in an old music studio in Christchurch, in the centre of the decimated earthquake-struck CBD. It gave them a sense of home, of rebuilding and progression in their style.

You're in for a "club night extravaganza" with heaps of positive energy, special guests and DJs, smoke and disco balls. They've just finished two and half months of touring, and they want to celebrate with you.
