Overview
BANFF Mountain Film Festival arrives in Wellington this week. With two programs to choose from, Paramount Theatre will be showing Program A on Tuesday 17th June, Friday 27th June and Program B on Tuesday 24th June. A lineup of beautiful sceneries, stories and culture awaits you.
Program A ranges from paddling through mountain rapids, The Keeper of The Mountains (whom l bet has a tale or two up her sleeve), skiing, biking, a chick putting the lads to shame and a surfer tucked between the Atlantic Ocean and the slopes of an arctic island.
Program B takes you into the Ecuadorian mountains, Beyond the Drop, to the future of wing suiting and somewhere added in the mix is a bit of healthy nudity to spice things up.
Conscious buyers can feel satisfied with the knowledge that your ticket fee contributes towards future projects run by the New Zealand Alpine club; Fostering climbing through the country.
Tickets: $19 for NZAC members and students, $21 for non-members.
