Overview

It's the enigmatic food truck known for dynamic flavours and a mildly frustrating it's-not-where-it-was-last-time-I-saw-them conundrum. At long last though, praise be, Beat Kitchen has secured space to put down some permanent roots and draw in the loyal crowds (who no longer have to stalk Facebook for location info).

Head along to the launch weekend and celebrate new beginnings with some delicious food in hand.

Parking up shop in behind Recycle Boutique and snuggled in next to the Victoria Architecture School, you can now find Beat's fantastic street food whenever hangriness strikes (either from voracious vintage shopping or studying building science, there are two kinds of people). The menu will revolve with the favourites of the eatery's nomadic past, whether it's the Bulgogi beef brisket and kimchi croquette burger with gochujong mayo, the pulled pork burger or fresh tuna, cucumber, red onion, ginger and ponzu ceviche.

This is a step up from street food, but still delivered with that convivial community feel of eating from a truck. The best of both worlds.
