Overview

Wellington Jazz Festival is jazzing up our cool little capital this June. The festival features some of the finest musicians from across the country, as well as from around the globe. 150 gigs will be playing across Wellington from June 5–9, including (and most importantly) Beyonce + Brass.

This is your chance to witness the essence of Queen B through the timelessness of jazz. On Saturday, 8 June, Lisa Tomlins and the Dirty Ole Brass Band will reinvent the hits of Beyonce. Join these musicians at Meow to fall crazy in love with this distinct one-off experience. The experience will also feature the talents of Hopepa (Joe Lindsay) on trombone, Coleman Squawkins (Lucien Johnson) on saxophone and Eru Dangerspiel (Riki Gooch) on drums.

Grab your single ladies for a night to remember. Tickets are $15 for early bird, $20 for general admission and $30 for door sales.
