Overview

Havana Restaurant sous chef Eom Jae Hoon started his new Wellington pop-up, Bibim, to bring people together through food.

The chef has already plated up his signature style of fresh Korean cuisine with seasonal New Zealand ingredients from his workplace kitchen — one hot pick included fish tartare with orange ponzu, cured egg and beetroot chips.

This April, chef Hoon brings Bibim to Amok. The event on Tuesday, April 13 will serve as the first takeover for the Mount Vic bistro and wine bar. Diners at ticketed feast will sit down for five Korean-style snacks for $65.
