Overview

I love to get a little stretch in. Getting flexi with a cause makes the yoga so much sweeter. CoLiberate is helping to change the way we see yoga in society; it's more than a fitness fad, it's a workout for your mind. Run as a social enterprise, CoLiberate is on a mission to encourage valuing mental health as much as physical heath.

The space is a gym for the busiest brains, offering both vinyasa and yin classes. Vinyasa is a style of practise synchronising the flow of movement and breath, whereas yin classes encourages the long and slow stretching of our muscles and our minds. Sessions are led by Rosie Sievers, a trained yoga teacher and all round great human. She provides all mats and post-workout cups of tea.

When the windy weather and the February crunch get you down from an epic summer in the city, you can count on CoLiberate to provide the extra boost that brightens your day. The classes are beginner to intermediate level and run on Thursday nights. Classes are $15 on the door, and you can text Rosie to book a mat. Pop into see the gang for a look around the space and find out more about emotional first aid.
