Overview
Drive-in cinema has been running out of Upper Hutt's Trentham Racecourse since 2013, attracting thousands of punters to enjoy the cinema experience from the comfort of their car.
The next Drive-Thru Cinema outing arrives in time for Queen's Birthday weekend with three films hitting the 40-foot outdoor screen. Smash-hit romance musical A Star is Born will kick off proceedings on Friday, 29 May, while the day after will see family adventure The Goonies light up from 3.30pm and Ford vs Ferrari from 7.30pm.
With FM audio transmission, attendees can forget all about cinematic etiquette and relax from the privacy and comfort of their own vehicles. All of the events are cashless so bring your card to pick up snacks from the candy bar.
