Friday Ginification

UPDATED 19 MAY, 2020: Denzien Urban Distillery will be hosting ten people at a time for its slightly revised Alert Level 2 Ginification experience. Participants will learn about the boutique gin and how to make a wonderful tipple. There's no need to book.

Late last year Denzien Urban Distillery arrived on the block — Lombard Street's laneway, to be exact. This year the craft gin distillery has opened its doors to the Ginification Sessions, weekly gin tasting sessions.

Every Friday evening from 4–8pm, Denzien will be offering tasting sessions with a cocktail mixologist and Denzien founders, Eamon O'Rourke and Mark Halton. O'Rourke and Halton will be on hand to spread their knowledge and love of gin to anyone who walks through the door. They'll also be mixing up the best kind of tangs for you to sip on.

Denzien is a distillery with a bit of a twist, as it creates small batch gin from rainwater and native botanicals. O'Rourke and Halton's early business discussions of Denzien took place at Hanging Ditch on Leeds Street over a glass of gin, thus pathing laneways as part of Denzien's foundation.
