For two days only, the Gate to Plate pop-up will be dishing up the goods. Tuck into a gourmet takeaway lunch designed and prepared by prisoners from Rimutaka Prison.

With mentoring from chef Martin Bosley, prison chefs are taught invaluable skills in the kitchen, helping them to realise their potential and prepare for their future outside the prison walls. This event is a chance for the prisoners to test out their skills and showcase their talents with the public.

Up your workday lunch game and nab this rare opportunity to experience food produced by prison chefs.  The location is to be confirmed.

Visa Wellington On a Plate, the capital's favourite foodie fiesta, returns in August with a month-long celebration of culinary delights. This year's festival invites you to feast your senses, with a smorgasbord of tantalising events, burgers, dishes and cocktails that'll leave you hungry for more. The festival takes place from 1 August - 31 August, across various venues.
