Overview

Not only a place to devour a cheeky craft beer, but also a taste of culture — The Third Eye is hosting the German Short Film Night this month. Show Me Shorts and The Goethe Institute are presenting the night of German short films in little old Welly.

It will be a celebration of German cinema with a collection of comedy, fantasy, documentary, pianists, escaped bears and three brothers in a bathtub. The films are all by incredibly talented German filmmakers and are as follows: Happy B-Day by Holger B. Frick, Berlin Metanoia by Erik Schmitt, Forever Over by Erik Schmitt, Willi Gibt Es Wirklich by Matthias Wittkuhn, Dissonance by Till Nowak, and Die Badewanne (The Bathtub) by Tim Ellrich.

If you're not fluent in German, there's no need to fret, this event is still for you. English subtitles will be presented at the bottom of the screen. There's no allocated seating, but it's first in, best dressed. With tickets on sale for only $15, you better get in quick. The bar will be open with food and drinks for purchase.
