Overview

An obscure exhibition has arrived at Enjoy Public Art Gallery. You'll be forgiven for being confused when you go. Blank walls, bare floors, just an empty room, except for one important feature — a broken window.

Created by Isabella Dampney and Theo Macdonald, they've aimed to highlight the way people view contemporary art as it "tends to be viewed with a certain kind of humour or even suspicion". Drawing the attention away from a physical exhibition, they hope that their broken window will foster conversation about what art is.

Inspired by Blondie, they've even created their own cover and music video of Blondie's 'Heart of Glass'. For the duration of the exhibition, the artists are engaging in media outlets that were at the central to entertainment and communication, such as public radio, during Blondie's time as an international superstar.. The exhibition closes on April 7.
