Overview

On the back of a performance across the ditch at Byron Bay Bluesfest, Scottish singer/songwriter KT Tunstall will perform two shows in NZ, including the Studio in Auckland and Bar Bodega in Wellington.

Tunstall first came into the public spotlight after making her TV debut with her loop pedal dubbed 'wee bastard' on Later…with Jools Holland in 2004. It's told she only had 24 hours to prepare after US rapper Nas pulled the plug on his scheduled performance. The appearance led her to achieve one of the most successful singles and most radio-played songs of 2005 in the United Kingdom with 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree'. Over her fruitful career she has released five albums and won awards including a BRIT for British Female Solo Artist and the Ivor Novello Award.
