Overview
After touring their most recent album AUTOMATIC in such far away lands as Brazil and Europe, Ladi6 return home for a mid-winter 'victory tour'. It seems only fitting that an album recorded between Detroit’s legendary 'Studio A' and Revolver Studios in Waiuku is going to be performed in all four corners of the globe.
Once thought of as a solo artist, Ladi6 is now seen as a solidified group featuring some of the most talented electronic, hip hop, and soul musicians in New Zealand (Ladi, Parks, Julien Dyne, Bharu, Steve 'Holt' Roberts). The team's funk-infused electronic beats combine effortlessly with Ladi's distinctive vocals.
Supported by Auckland's jazzed up rap cat's Team Dynamite, Ladi6 will be playing at the Meow on the 8th of August.
