Overview
Uproarious jealousy? Sexy quick wit? Claustrophobic bedroom politics? Tell us more.
Mating in Captivity has finally arrived at Bats following a runaway success of a season at Auckland's Basement Theatre in 2016. This viciously sharp show is a screwball comedy for modern times, a production designed to liberate and titillate "the most liberal city in Aotearoa," (that's us, apparently).
The only narrative info we can find is this: "Rob and Annie are playing house when the past comes knocking, switching things up in their bedroom." Interesting.
Also of note is its contents: nudity, coarse language, sexual themes, more nudity. Bats says that you can always contact its box office if you'd like more info. Or, just buy a ticket and find out for yourself.
