Overview
Featuring over 300 models made by the New Zealand Federation of Meccano Modelers this will be worth a geez.
Meccano has been around for a long time and this exhibition will showcase the ability of Meccano to enable the creation of mechanical marvels. This is a great chance to check out how a toy has inspired some incredible architects, designers and engineers over its one hundred plus year run. I might just add for those staunch Lego supporters, suspend the prejudice; it’s still worth checking out. There will be some truly impressive models on display, some over 3 metres tall and powered by onboard computers.
