Overview

Update: Due to the country's new red alert level in the COVID-19 traffic light framework, this event will not be going ahead.

See out the end of January 2022 the way you planned to see it in, at the rescheduled and revamped iteration of Northern Bass.

Normally one of the country's biggest New Year's festivals, Northern Bass organisers scrambled to reschedule the three-day event following Prime Minister Jacinda Arden's announcement on Monday, December 13 that Northland will remain at its 'red' setting in the COVID traffic light framework until Friday, December 31.

Now taking place across Auckland anniversary weekend on January 28, 29 and 30, the lineup for the second take of NB 2021/2022 is still looking stacked. In fact, in a real case of 'silver linings', the changed date now means British drum and bass DJ Andy C is back in the mix after scheduling conflicts the first time around. Also featuring across the three days are are Kanine, Lady6, Lee Mvtthews, Montel2099 and The Upbeats, as well as numerous other acts.

Right now those wanting tickets can only join the waitlist, but given that hundreds of ticket holders who can't make the new dates are selling theirs for refunds, slots are opening up by the day.
