Overview
Celebrate the upcoming holiday season this weekend by singing along with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra at Te Papa. The free event in the Wellington Foyer will kick off from 11am with the orchestra presenting popular and award-winning New Zealand children's books to music and featuring vocals from Troy Kingi.
In Te Papa's Te Marae from 1–2pm, a pop-up carol singing workshop will let you see what it's like to sing with the orchestra. Learn the tunes in the Christmas carols workshop and then join the orchestra at 3pm for a proper sing-along.
For those who would rather spectate than get involved, the concert with the NZSO and new carol choir will be on show back in the Wellington Foyer from 3–4pm.
