Overview

The beaut new Clyde Quay Wharf café, Poneke by Mojo, has been killing it in the short period it’s been open. This is no doubt in part due to the excellent menu designed by Martin Bosley.

In an exciting follow on from this success, Martin Bosley is back at Poneke for Wellington on a Plate. In a one night only, blink-or-you’ll-miss-it event, Martin Bosley has designed a degustation menu based on, fittingly for us Wellingtonians, coffee. Using products from local producers such as Yellow Brick Road and City Market, attendees will be treated to six courses of exciting – and no doubt delicious – food. Courses include mushroom espresso consommé, coffee pastrami of kingfish, and a coffee and chocolate tart. Tuatara are supplying the booze, with a different beer to match each course, including a unique coffee-inspired beer crafted for Mojo itself.

Tickets are on sale now and, as with all Wellington on a Plate events, are likely to sell out. So book now to get yourself in the door for this caffeine-filled food and drink extravaganza.
