12:00pm

Southern Cross Bar and Restaurant

39 Abel Smith Street, Te Aro

Cat lovers of Wellington, we know you're out there. Southern Cross and the Wellington SPCA have teamed up to create the city's first pop up Cat Café. Because what could be better than sampling some delish eats with a cute cat to cuddle?

Kāpiti cheese mouse traps, Wellington Trawling smoked fish croquettes and lil Whittaker's kitty cat chocolate cupcakes will all be in rotation, while showcasing the brilliant work of the SPCA and all the cats that reside there. A portion of the ticket sales will also be donated to the organisation. You don't have to go to Japan anymore for a taste of the Cat Café phenomenon, it's in our very own city! And for an amazing cause. You don't need much more reason than that.

The pop-up Cat Café is running in two sessions:

Monday 22 August, 12noon–2pm
Monday 22 August, 5pm–7pm
