Wilson Street record store Creeps Record Parlour is throwing down a shindig to kick off the new year.

Held at Newtown's Moon1 on Saturday, 11 January, the gig/party involving all things psychedelic, surf and limbo will be headlined by The Echo Ohs. Arriving by way of Auckland, the three-piece is known for its brand of fuzzy surf rock. Also on the bill is Sparkling Duet + 1, a combination of UK garage surf trashobilly band the Night Shades and D.T Herkes (Stink Magnetic) on drums to bolster the thunder.

The limbo action will unfold on the dance floor while a DJ will kick out only the finest twangin' surf rock 'n' roll hits. The first 30 people through the door wearing a Hawaiian shirt, dress or lei will receive a beverage on the house.
