Overview

Circa Theatre presents Public Service Announcement: The Ghosts of Christmas Parties. The evening will be a mix of political humour and festivities therefore making it a jolly start to Christmas.

Directed by Hannah Smith and Anya Tate-Manning, the show is Wellington's longest running political satire. The premise of the show circulates the night of the Beehive Christmas party. MPs find themselves relaxing and mingling, however each party then faces their own ghosts. But with the discovery of their own ghosts, they finally unearth the true meaning of Christmas. As every good Christmas story should.

The show has been running since 2011 filling the void of political satire. Since who doesn't like poking fun at MPs? With ticket prices from $25-35, this is an evening the whole family will enjoy. Join Circa from Tuesday, 18 to Saturday, 22 December at 7.30pm, and Sunday, 23 December at 4.30pm to get a dose of local politics in the best way possible.
