Free Salsa at Sunset

Dance your way into the evening as Cuban Fusion's Salsa at Sunset returns for its 13th year.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned professional, come along to this fun and free series of Salsa on Wellington's waterfront every Thursday in February. Is dancing not your thing and you prefer to watch from afar? Put your feet up on one of the Plaza's sun loungers, or relax in the beanbags and groove along to the Cuban sounds as the sun goes down.

Music will be on from 5.30pm if you're eager to slip in an extra dance before the class. Otherwise, waltz your way around Odlins Plaza's pop-up bar and sun lounge for an alcoholic slushie and a snack. If you've committed to doing drink-free February, non-alcoholic and child-friendly beverages will also be on offer.

No experience or partner is needed, but registration is recommended. Dust off your dancing shoes and boogie on down, the Cuban way.
