Overview

The weather is warming up, the days are longer and spring is in the air — but in notoriously windy Wellington, enjoying your bevs exposed to the open air is not a guaranteed good time.

Luckily waterfront eatery St John's has come to the party. After their cosy winter igloos were such a success, the team have adapted them for the warmer months and turned them into bloom-filled spring glasshouses. Sip a sangria or a spritz in the sunshine — without suffering in a below-zero windchill.

Costing $69pp Monday – Thursday and $79pp Friday – Sunday, you'll enjoy a delicious grazing platter stacked with oysters, salmon, prawns, charcuterie and cheeses — before finishing off with some sweet treats. Plus, you'll get some excellent 'gram content if that's your buzz.

Bookings are key, so head to St John's website to find out all the details.
