The acclaimed Radio New Zealand podcast series The 9th Floor did a brilliant job earlier this year of shining a light into the lives of five former Prime Ministers of New Zealand: Geoffrey Palmer, Mike Moore, Jim Bolger, Jenny Shipley and Helen Clark. Occupying the ninth floor of the Beehive is a fascinating role, and one that reflects directly onto how our modern New Zealand has been shaped. It's especially fascinating now that we're on the home straight to the election, and the recent spotlight of the lack of civics education in schools.

Now, the series is being released in print form by Bridget Williams Books in partnership with RNZ. You can join Guyon Espiner and Tim Watkin to mark its publication and discuss the book's contents at Te Marae at Te Papa this Friday. After a conversational panel about the book, there will be drinks and light refreshments.
