Overview

After touring Canada and America, Wellingtonians The Black Seeds return to New Zealand soil to celebrate the release of their sixth studio album, Fabric.

The new record promises to deliver the unique Black Seeds sound while adding something different to the mix. "We've always aspired to make music that lifts peoples spirits and Fabric is no different." The 12-track album was recorded at Lee Prebble's The Surgery studio.

To celebrate, the boys will bring their brand of feelgood reggae-funk to San Fran for two shows. They'll also be making their way to Auckland, Raglan, Mount Maunganui, Wanaka, Dunedin and Christchurch.

Known for their electrifying live shows, the eight-piece create a unique sound fusing dub, reggae and funk with instruments ranging from guitar, saxophone, trumpet, bass, drums, bongos, keyboard and woodblock — there is never a dull-moment with these guys.

Be sure to put on your dancing shoes as The Black Seeds will sweep you off your feet.
