Overview

Have you ever wanted to experience the rolling hills of the French countryside? Flakey croissants? The fresh smell of baguettes? But then realised plane tickets are expensive? Lucky for you, Featherston is hosting its very own French country fair this April.

On Saturday, 6 April and Sunday, 7 April, from 10am to 4pm, Tauherenikau Racecourse in Featherston will be throwing the French Country Fair. For the 11th year in a row, people from near and far will congregate over fresh pastries and creamy cheeses, along with French music, stalls and art.

Not only will there be a range of delicious stalls to indulge in, but there will also be French musicians, vintage horse and cart rides, French lessons, and vintage shops all held under the glorious chestnut trees.

Buy your ticket at the door. Adults are $8, while under 12s are free.
