Treat your loved one this Valentine's Day to a night of live music and love-themed animal talks at Wellington Zoo.

Educate yourselves about the love lives of the zoo animals with scheduled talks, such as Kinky Kia and Gibbon Love Island, throughout the evening. If you want to go the extra mile, book an up close and personal encounter with the wildlife. Once you've been introduced to enough meerkats and lemurs for the night, enjoy a range of romantic and original jazz with live music from Equinox 3.

And because any and every occasion calls for a drink, the zoo will have an outdoor bar serving up your poison of choice throughout the night. Book ahead of time and secure a couple's Valentine's night package. This includes entry for two and a delicious platter from Blue Carrot Catering. A selection of treats will also be available on the night.

This is an R18 event, so don't feel guilty about leaving the kids at home. Enjoy a wild night at the zoo.
