Wellington Zoo is saying thank you to the community for their ongoing support by offering heavily discounted tickets.
On the weekend of Saturday, 29 and Sunday, 3o May the zoo is welcoming Wellingtonians through its gates for just $5. Children 14 and under can visit for just $2 and, as always, children under three are free. The only catch is that tickets must be pre-booked online before your visit. All proceeds from the Welcome Weekend event will go to the Wellington Zoo Conservation Fund to directly support local and international conservation projects.
The zoo will also open earlier than usual across both days, from 9am to 5pm, and visitors must select a timed entry slot when buying their online tickets to help with queues. You will be able to stay the full day in the zoo once you enter.
