Overview
After a sold-out season during the New Zealand Comedy Festival, Robbie Nicol is returning to Circa Theatre for one more run of his hit show, White Man Behind A Desk.
Starting life as a webseries, Robbie and the team behind him have left the security of YouTube and TVNZ OnDemand for a live audience. Described as "The Kiwi John Oliver" (a moniker he'll probably never be rid of), he'll rant, frolic, sing, and dance his way through the absurd circus that is New Zealand politics.
Written by Robbie Nicol and Finnius Teppett, with additional material from Stella Reid, White Man Behind a Desk is produced by Bevin Linkhorn of Good Times Company. With our global political climate what it is, and heading into an election year of our own, this is a relevant time to suspend your uncertainties and sink into the satire.
