Overview

Circa Theatre's new contemporary domestic thriller Anahera has already been pitched as one of 2017's best productions. The work looks into the life of the Hunter family: the perfect nucleus of a great marriage, successful careers, beautiful home and two perfect children — until son Harry goes missing.

To mark the premiere, Grand Mercure's Forage Kitchen are presenting a rare opportunity to discuss Wellington's most-talked about play with award-winning director Katie Wolfe (Waru, The Mooncake and the Kumara, The Women, co-writer Emma Kinane, and actress Jacqueline Nairn.

Over a two-course lunch with wine pairing, the trio will discuss the finely honed script that served as a finalist in last year's Adam New Zealand Play Awards and has been described as "an enthralling mix of a powerful missing child drama and a behind-closed- doors look at New Zealand's social services."

Diners will choose from black Angus eye fillet or kawakawa rubbed duck breast with either Whittaker's white chocolate and raspberry crème brulee or Waikane lemon tart to finish.

Bookings are essential.
