Overview
Tom Scott of creative collective Years Gone By (formerly known as Young, Gifted & Broke) is teaming up with Red Bull to bring a unique intergenerational musical showcase to Wellington. On Saturday, May 18 the gig which aims to "act as a bridge between generations," will feature performances from psychedelic soul singer Troy Kingi and his nephew Rawiri Webb; Mara TK and his psych-rock guitar hero father Billy TK, Fat Freddy's Drop trombonist Joe Lindsay and his techno/house DJ son Benny Salvador, and emerging rap talent Vayne with her cousin Fiveofive. Tom Scott will also be making an appearance to round off the show of talent old and new. Rsvp for $15 tickets — they'll be $25 on the door without.
