Right in the heart of town, the Dunedin Art Gallery is a world-class gallery that should not be missed. Established in 1884, it was New Zealand's first art gallery. Known for its rich historic collection as much as its excellent relationship with contemporary New Zealand artists, this gallery is a delight to visit. Shows are well-curated and the space is really quite remarkable.
