Overview

The Pig 'n' Whistle has been an Indooroopilly icon for many a year, and now everyone's favourite westside pub has a new companion. Say hello to Pig's Ear Wine and Grill, the restaurant offshoot you didn't know you were waiting for.

Like its sibling venue, nothing is done by halves at the fresh addition to the Station Road side of the just-renovated Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. A wine cellar containing 2,500 bottles of the good stuff certainly proves that. So does a dining area that can seat 260, making it the largest eatery in the city's western suburbs.

Pig's Ear's may take its moniker from the animal responsible for bacon, pork and ham; however, all things beef is actually the restaurant's specialty. Prepare for Kimberley Red cuts sourced directly from the station and served with fresh produce from the restaurant's purpose-made organic farm just down the road at Pullenvale. Mouth-watering twists on other meats also feature, but there's never any doubt that is a place for steak lovers.
