Breakfast is about to become your favourite meal.

All-day breakfast might be the cafe scene's holy grail; however there's hawking the usual brekkie options around lunchtime, and then there's offering up the kind of eggs, muesli, toast or yoghurt fare that really demands to be eaten at any hour. Thankfully, from its park-view vantage on Yeronga's Hyde Road, Station 82 knows the difference. In fact, after looking at their selection, breakfast might just become your favourite meal.

If you haven't ever had a breakfast salad, we suggest you start there — because who doesn't want to start their morning with rocket, shaved parmesan, croutons, avocado, bacon, cherry tomatoes and poached eggs? Or, why not try the avocado bruschetta stack topped with haloumi, or the savoury pork mince? Yes, they do sound like perfect midday fare as well.

Station 82 does serve up actual lunch options, if a burger, sandwich, wrap or some fish takes your fancy — but no one will judge you if you stick to the brekkie menu. Wash it all down with a Tim Tam-flavoured signature frappe, and then count the days until the eatery opens its doors for dinner as well. It hasn't happened yet, but it's on the horizon.
