Overview

If you're keen to take it easy on Ponsonby Road, Little Easy is the place for you. One of the latest additions to the strip's thriving social scene, this brand new gastropub looks out over the beautiful Franklin Road — a spot many will remember for its former lives as Sponge/Chicane, The Franklin and others.  But make no mistake, a classy renovation has remodelled this central location into a fresh, vibrant and wholesome destination.

Inspired twists on simple kiwi classics, Little Easy is a pub, plain and simple (except for the VW van upstairs that doubles as a DJ booth after dark, and an astonishing selection of rum), but promises to focus on the bits many pubs forget to really think about - simple and approachable food and drink.  The menu is Americano-inspired and offers many substantial offerings that appeal to those with a voracious appetites – think pub food with a quality quick.

The burger menu states "the best in the world", and while admittedly they are fantastic we must remember that the world has many outstanding burger choices.  Still, big claims aside, they generously fill a gap and are more than a match for anything else on Ponsonby Road – be sure to indulge and get the Double Bacon, Double Cheese, you deserve it.

For those seeking snacksfaction or an intoxicant absorber you can't go past a classic Toastie – just like mum used to make.  Remove all worries of 'don't drink and fry' and let the friendly staff at Little Easy take the risk for you – the Elvis (Grilled Bacon, Caramalised Banana and Peanut Butter…. whaaaat) or the Philly Cheese Steak is the products of a beautiful mind.

In short Little Easy lives up to its name – a hassle free hangout in a world of fast-lane living.
