A Celebration of the Dog

The Daily Bread pop-up inside Grey Lynn's The Greenhouse — which was supposed to wrap up last month but then changed its mind — is hosting a snag party in the lead up to Christmas. Every Friday from the start of December through until the holiday season, the crew from Good Dog Bad Dog will be slinging deluxe hotdogs (more luxe than pictured). Orphans Kitchen will be on the drinks, and the $20 entry fee (Orphans is saying $15) will set you up with one hotdog and one beer.

Good Dog Bad Dog is a new project from the team behind Newmarket's Candy Shop. Previous pop-ups have seen them serve plant-based dogs with shiitake, jalapeño, miso truffle bechamel, ketchup and mustard; a frankfurter topped with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and special sauce; plus chilli cheese creations starring a frankfurter, beef mince and cheddar.
