Overview

The Auckland Plant Market is bringing a one day flora and fauna event to Smales Farm, located in Takapuna about 15 minutes from the city centre.

The event will take place on Sunday, 17 November from 9am until 3pm, giving you all day to explore the wares and plant babies on offer. At the market you'll encounter everything from indoor and outdoor plants, to botanical art, jewellery and skincare. Discover not only plants such as palms and cacti, but planters, macrame, kokodama, terrariums and more.

Stall owners include the likes of Composed Confusion, which is run by Marcia who creates macrame designs including wall hangings and pot plant holders. You can also grab yourself a coffee, have a bite to eat and enjoy live music.

Smales Farm is a community hub on Auckand's North Shore surrounded by native trees that serves as a backdrop for many events in the city. Entry to the market is free of charge, but be sure to take along some cash in case you want to treat yourself to a delightfully prickly cactus.
