Weekly improv show Snort is on the verge of cracking the big time. Hence, it will leave its usual home of The Basement Theatre for one night to test the waters at a bigger establishment up the road.

The rotating cast of comedians and actors that make up the collective have been making stuff up on the spot since 2013, using audience interaction to create hilarious and bizarre stories and scenes. For what will be there biggest show to date, the Snort team will join forces with All Good Organics to present a show at Rangatira inside Q Theatre.

Ginger Snort (named after the drink Gingerella) will be hosted by ginger comedian Nic Sampson. He will lead well-known comedians and improvisers including Rose Matafeo, Guy Montgomery, Hamish Parkinson, and special guest monologist Jesse Griffin through a night of ad-libbed comedy.

All proceeds from the event will be used to jet the Snort cast off to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2016.
