Ha! The Classic Summerfest

Overview

This week marks the start of a hilarious two weeks celebrating The Classic's 20th Anniversary. The double event is coming to Auckland over our two long weekends. It all kicks off this weekend with the New Pro's Showcase. This show gives you a taste of 20 local comedians to look out for over the year ahead. The NZ giggle industry is out to celebrate and you're invited.

Saturday sees a chance for you to take the mic at late night open mic night. This is is your opportunity to bring out your favourite dad jokes. The next event is on Tuesday, where Rhys Matthewson is hosting a feature quiz. The idea of the quiz is as simple as follows, no right answers, just whatever is deemed the 'best', come armed with your best one liners.

The festivities carry on into the following week. With Waitangi Weekend Comedy All-Stars, another open mic night, Fresh Comedy Night and a comedy debate, of which the proceeds will go to The Key to Life Trust. This comedic lineup of events is bound to make your summer beer belly jiggle.
