Somewhat confusingly, International Fry Day this year falls on a Wednesday, but any day of the week is a damn good day to celebrate hot, salty, potatoey goodness. Burger Burger is celebrating with half-price fries — its signature shoestring, to be exact — at any of the six stores around the country.

Aucklanders, that means you need to head to any of the Ponsonby, Newmarket, Takapuna or Commercial Bay branches to get your mitts on a big basket of fries for only $4 on Wednesday, July 13.

That's less than a coffee — and just as important to the daily routine, in our option.

You have to dine in to nab the deal, so take a long lunch or catch up with friends for a drink and fry after work. And while you're there, maybe grab one of Burger Burger's delicious burgs — it would be rude not to.
