Hawaiian BBQ Luau
Have your fill of an entire roasted hog to celebrate Behemoth Brewing Company's sixth birthday.
Overview
It's going to be a big year for Behemoth Brewing Company. All going to plan, the award-winning Auckland brewery will be opening a new brew pub, butchery and nose-to-tail restaurant in Mount Eden this November. All that plus the company is turning six.
To mark the occasion, Behemoth founder Andrew Childs is teaming up with Ponsonby barbecue joint Morepork BBQ for an all-you-can-eat Hawaiian feast. The menu includes an entire roasted hog, shoyu chicken, macaroni salad, potato salad, coconut and pineapple rice and pineapple upside-down cake for dessert.
To prepare for the hype that usually surrounds these kind of events, there will be three different sittings throughout the day. The daytime seating (12–4pm) includes the all-you-can-eat feast for $35, while the two evening seatings (5–7pm and 7.30–9.30pm) include the feast and one Behemoth beer, wine or house cocktail for $50. The sittings are limited to a two hours.
