Overview

If for some bizarre reason your childhood has not been blessed with an annual does of It's a Wonderful Life, then this Christmas season is the time to rectify that mistake.

Originally released in 1947, the film shows an extremely generous but depressed man what life would've been like if he didn't exist. George Bailey spent his life selflessly giving of himself for the people of Bedford Falls, but after a rapid succession of unfortunate events come to a head on Christmas Eve, George prepares to escape his problems permanently. A first-time guardian angel, Clarence Odbody shows George his value to the town of Bedford Falls is far greater than he initially imagined.

This special Silo Cinema screening is in support of Auckland City Mission's Become Someone's Angel campaign, helping provide Christmas cheer to the less fortunate Aucklanders.
