Overview

Liam Finn comes from a family of famous musicians. The Finn Brothers are legendary in New Zealand's music history—Neil Finn is Liam's father and Tim Finn is his uncle. It would be easy to feel overshadowed by such icons, but Liam is in no danger of such a thing.

A talented artist in his own right, he has debuted his solo career with the excellent album I'll be Lightening in 2007 and has risen to even loftier heights with last year's release The Nihilist. His latest album is more experimental, discordant and complex than the first. He takes on a number of characters throughout the progression on the album, convincingly inhabiting the different personalities through his intelligent songwriting.

Come Saturday March the 21st, you'll have the chance to see that intense stare off The Nihilist's cover art in real life as Liam Finn comes back to New Zealand from his current abode in New York in order to tour the album.
