You made it through Monday. You ploughed on through Tuesday. You've nearly clocked Wednesday.. surely an effort like that is mark-it-with-a-drink worthy? Cheers Barrio, couldn't agree more.

Head along for Barrio's newest fortnightly fixure. The whole idea being to mark getting through hump day with some old fashioned good times. Think $6 Jameson Whiskeys, tapas, knucklebones (kids of the 90s, can I get a 'hell yeah!'?), as well as board games. Man, I love nostalgic activities.

This week, the Wednesday night fun will be accompanied by The Fresno Funk Masters, featuring Sven Pettersen from the Checks, David Kelly and Tim Gittins from 2 a.m Orchestra and Tim Bern from T.I.N.N.Y.xx.

The crew at Barrio also have confirmed the flickering ambience of the courtyard fire. Bit of a catch 22 here, the fire's a great drawcard, it's just the flip side of knowing that when a bar starts cranking the fireplace we're fast spiralling into Winter. But let's not all hibernate, Scrabble at a bar is worth braving the nip.
