Phoenix Rising
Enjoy a delicious dinner, chat with your industry peers and listen to speeches from some major heavyweights from Aotearoa's creative sectors.
Overview
Thanks to a slew of cancelled events and two years of WFH culture becoming the norm, chances to network and learn from industry leaders have been few and far between. Now creative popup event Phoneix Rising, taking place at Wynyard Pavilion on April 7, is hoping to change that.
The brainchild of music industry heavyweight and R&V co-founder Hamish Pinkham, this one-night event is set to bring together different members of Aotearoa's creative industries to network, share ideas and have meaningful conversations over how to achieve social and industrial change.
Because the best conversations always happen over good food and drinks (facts) this is all to be enjoyed over a catered dinner and bevs from Wynard Pavilion and the Steinlager and Invivo teams. Coming solo? Don't worry, you'll be seated with a specially selected crew of creative peers in a similar speciality, so you can really dial down into the nuts and bolts. Some engaging key speakers are also on the lineup, including producer, DJ and songwriter Mike Snell, fashion designer Caitlin Crisp and urban poet and rapper Melodownz.
Kicking off from 6pm on Thursday, April 7, tickets are available now for $65 each.
