Dunedin band Soaked Oats are bringing their dreamy sound back to Auckland. The appearance is part of the seven-date Corona Sunsets Presents tour and comes straight after a string of shows celebrating their new EP, No Slip Ups.

After the release of their first EP, Stone Fruit Melodies, the band's commitment to a fruit motif was clear. Every track name references a stone fruit; their SoundCloud bio claims, "the fruits of all that labour is finally here for your ears," and they promise "to have your insides filled with sonic goodness." Reviewers have also followed suit; according to TuneSoc, their music is "a fusion of delicious tunes hitting the back of your throat with a beautiful mixture of musical instrumentals and sexy vocals."

The band discuss how they came together and their writing inspirations in a recent interview with RNZ. To get a taste of their 'juicy' music before the show, listen to 'Avocado Aficionado' or their live recording of 'Stoned Fruit' which is performed in their underwear. This quirky alternative band will be playing alongside Albion Place and Mild Orange.
