Overview

After two years popping up with authentic Mexican tacos and ethical breakfast sammies, plant-based restaurant found a permanent home on Auckland's Symonds Street. The project from chef Plabita Florence highlights everything from wild plants that are literally overgrown throughout the city to underrated parts of produce that are normally destined for the bin.

On Sunday, 2 August, and first Sunday of the month thereafter, the restaurant will be opening early for brunch. The service will offer the usual Forest vibe, with diners sitting down for three courses of intriguing and plant-focused takes on brunch classics.

The mid-morning feast costs $55 per person and includes bottomless Kokako coffee.
