It goes without saying that there will be a lot of food on show.

Overview

Whether you’re passionate about cooking, you have a taste for artisan yet-to-hit-the-shelves ingredients or you just can’t go by free food, then The Food Show is for you.

What you can expect from this tasty expo is over 300 stalls showcasing an array of local and imported products ranging from boutique teas and Danish salami to Simon Gault’s stock and herbs range (if you’re lucky, you’ll meet the man himself serving up tasters to the crowds).

In the middle of the action you will find the main arena with a stage and raised seating, where you can watch live demonstrations from local chefs. Check out the timetable here. If you’d prefer to peruse the stalls at your own leisure you can do just that, but we advise getting there early to avoid pushy crowds eager to nab a show special or two. Speaking of which, bring your cash, because we guarantee you won’t be walking out empty-handed.
