Overview

The New Zealand Herald appointed "stand-out cabaret of the year", Valerie, has captured audiences no matter the stage. This month the inter-generational, interdisciplinary and interrupting piece of theatre is back for another run at Auckland's Q Theatre.

Held over five nights, the show explores the vast swades of generational differences. Labelled "gig-theatre", Valerie combines music, genetics and storytelling to unravel creator Robin Kelly's family history – and try to shine a light on the future. Its thought provoking approach to uncover the mysteries of family mythologies is sure to keep you gripped and on the edge of your seat for the entire 65 minutes.

It has previously played across New Zealand and has even made its way over to Australia. This theatrical performance has been positively received by audiences near and far. Soon to grace the shores of Scotland, its time here is limited, so we suggest catching it while you can.
